2019 Polar Bear Camp

March 2, 2019
It was February 2-3 when 11 Scouts and 6 Adults trekked up to Summit Lake, where the Boy Scouts in our region have a beautiful camp area with a standing lodge built to host Scouting Events such as our annual Polar Bear Camp.
This is a camp during winter snow of February where Scouts and leaders come together to test their skills in fire-building, knot tying, structure building, camp stove cooking, camping skills, life-saving and first aid.
In the evening, we gather together for skits, songs, tall tales and short prayers that bond us together around God, Country and Community.
